Edit>> Ok, if you saw this before then you should realize that I changed one big thing... I took all the lines out!! Now it's more like a painting and I like it much more. It was like 1 more hour's worth of work, and I think it was worth it.
Holy crap, 3 deviations in 1 week! That's gotta be a new record. Anyway.
I needed to prove to myself that I could start and finish a piece in one day, as opposed to weeks, so here is Jean Grey. She was originally going to be a Rogue picture, then I realized that I've never even attempted drawing her and there are enough Rogue fanarts out there (although I'll probably do one soon enough anyways ).
I'm pretty happy with how this turned out, probably 5-6 hours total (including sketching, inking, scanning, then coloring).
Jean Grey needs some lovin' too. She doesn't seem to have as many fans as other leading X-Men gals... probably cause she dates that nub Cyclops.
aaaawesome! i absolutely love your coloring style and how you mix in the different shades and different colors to come out with a something that looks great overall. excellent work!
(as my colors are woefully deficient, but i have decent drawing skills, let me know if you're ever interested in a collaboration!)

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
